MAFAR delivers services to the Islamic City of Marawi

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform- Lanao del Sur Provincial Office, in partnership with the City Government of Marawi, geared towards public engagement by participating in the Government Service Exhibit along with its celebration of 83rd Charter Day with the theme “Kalilang 2023: Rebuilding stronger, Serving together.”

The event, aimed at showcasing the government’s various services and initiatives, was held on August 7 to 11 at the City Hall gymnasium, Marawi City.

MAFAR’s booth visitors were treated to an insightful display of some of the ministry’s services, ranging from the provision of Free Seeds and urea, farming consultations, fisheries consultations, and provision of learning materials to Legal assistance on Camp Keithley claimants or E0 75, one of the Agrarian reform initiatives that empower rural communities.

In line with Camp Keithley Claimants in Marawi City, A ceremonial distribution of Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) is set to be done before this year ends.

According to Chief of Agrarian Reform Division Rocaina A. Mindalano, the initial count of CLOAs to be distributed is around 156 with a total of 272 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), covering approximately 130 hectares or 1,300,814 sq.m. at the Barangays of Cabasaran, Bangco, and Guimba. As of the moment, the team of the Agrarian Reform Division is working on the generation of CLOAs for signing and sealing.
