ARBOs receive farm tractors from MAFAR

The Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization from Sulu received Units of farm drive tractors from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform on Tuesday, August 16.

It was spearheaded by Chief of Agrarian Reform Program Officer Al jibriel D. Ladjahasan together with Chief of Admin and Finance/Admin Officer V Ms. Wendy M. Reyes at the provincial office at the Municipality of Patikul.

Mawalil Wasit Estate of ARC Tumpok Patikul, Sulu and Panglima Estino, Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, Incorporated ARC Panglima Estino, Sulu was awarded a two unit 40 horsepower engine multipurpose farm vehicle under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project(CRFPSP) of Agrarian Reform Support Services.

“It will create a great contribution for expansion and improvement of their production and livelihood,” the association chairman said.

The project’s goal is essentially to enhance agricultural productivity as the primary source of livelihood in agrarian communities it can adopt amid climate-related risks.

Upon receiving the machinery, MAFAR-Sulu personnel take measures to check the quality and performance before being used.

In addition, Senior Agrarian Program Officer Lilybeth T. Pingay, Engr. Marcom H. Arabain and other Provincial staff showed their support and commitment to implementing programs under support services relative to the development of viable agrarian reform communities.
