MAFAR highlights agrarian reform justice delivery programs in its strategic planning
MANILA-To effectively and efficiently deliver the projects, activities and programs of the Agrarian Justice Delivery, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform held its first strategic planning and catch-up plan for the Agrarian Justice Deliver Program 2020 and 2021 cum performance review.
The activity aimed to build and establish relationship among the Regional and Provincial legal services as well as the Admin and Finance Division through the conduct of team building activity on February 16-22, at New Coast Hotel.
MAFAR Minister Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D., Deputy Minister Ammal D. Solaiman, and the provincial directors; Dr. Ronjamin Maulana of Maguindanao, Atty Khalid D. Ansano of Lanao Del Sur, Dr. Hanie A. Junuban of Basilan, Engr. Alfie U. Iribani of Sulu and Dr. Aidarus I. Nami of Tawi-Tawi attended the said activity to review the performance for the past three years of the legal services from the regional office down to the Provincial level.
Minister Yacob said our function is to improve the farmers and fisherfolks livelihood status, and our main target and objective is to increase economic status in the region. We should strategically think on how we deal our beneficiaries and how can we address the challenges through the legal services.
Minister Yacob expressed his honest opinion on the performance of the legal services and commending the implementation of the AJDP while stressing the areas for improvement of justice delivery in the Bangsamoro Region.
Chief of AMAD Dr. Tong Pinguiaman facilitated the activity with the presentation of physical and financial accomplishments under BAA 2020 and GAAB 2021 by the provincial legal divisions and the admin & finance respectively while incorporating series of morale development exercises throughout the event.
Engr. Fahad Kanakan, Planning Officer III presented the physical targets of the entire regional legal services, to confirm and verify the physical accomplishment presented by the legal divisions.
During the team building, it was participated by Legal Division and Admin & Finance staff, for the purpose of spurring motivation, encouraging collaboration and developing trust as well as promoting camaderie among employees of MAFAR.
